Top tips from the experts

There was a time when movies and television were only available in black and white. With the introduction of colour, life got a lot more interesting.

Given the preference most people would prefer colour over black and white pictures. The same goes for print advertising. Black and white may say what you want it to say, but add a bit of colour to something such as a flyer and it’ll actually get noticed.

Here are the top 5 tips for designing your own flyer…

  1. Photos equal Memories – vibrant photo’s evoke emotions. Choose the right one to encourage your customers to buy from you
  2. Messages are like cricket balls. Only throw one at a time.
  3. One Flyer, One Purpose. Don’t confuse your clients with loads of offers and deals.
  4. Get the maximum Return on Investment. How long will it take you to design and print your flyers? Would it actually work out cheaper to have us do it?! Also, how are you going to distribute them?
  5. Go for standard sizes. Custom sizes are snazzy, but expensive and they won’t bring you any extra customers.
